About The Project

Lauray’s The Diamond Center is a destination jewelry store in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas that wanted to grow their sales but didn’t allow visitors to buy online because of the high-risk nature of their business. They needed to increase their visibility and attract more traffic to their website, despite that it was technologically outdated and customers couldn’t buy online. Instead, they needed SEO to help drive foot-traffic and sales in their storefront.

Lauray’s wasn’t ready for a complete overhaul of their website and one of the biggest challenges was working with outdated technology that wasn’t designed for modern search engines. As well, visitors couldn’t purchase online and had to drive to the store location 45 minutes away from their core client base.

Project Results

We worked closely with Lauray’s to make changes to their website to give them a search engine advantage over the competition. With hundreds of items listed on their website in nearly a hundred categories, it was a big undertaking just before their busiest time of year during the holidays and engagement season. We reorganized their content for optimal search engine structuring, adjusted descriptions for keyword optimization, and created captivating descriptions that enticed website visitors to go to their store.Despite these challenges, we helped Lauray’s have their best holiday season in over 5 years with increased sales, foot-traffic, and website visitors.

Notable Achievements

After optimizing their website as best we could within the technological restraints of their site, Lauray’s saw record breaking Q4 sales without having to commit to a massive overhaul of their website and business to accommodate online sales. They decided to further invest in their digital marketing because they saw such a high return on investment and now ecommerce plays an important role in their overall marketing and business strategy.
